City Of Jacksonville And State Of Florida Expand Investment Opportunity For Financial Services Firm

Jacksonville, Fla. (July 7, 2020) – Jacksonville and Florida leaders  are pleased to welcome Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., a leading global financial services firm, to Jacksonville. Cantor Fitzgerald, headquartered in New York, will open a Jacksonville office and plans to employ 80 people. The Jacksonville City Council unanimously approved the project in May as Project Kodiak. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity finalized the project last month.

 “Today’s announcement affirms Florida is positioned as a global player in the financial services sector,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “We welcome Cantor Fitzgerald to the Sunshine State and wish them all the success.”

Cantor Fitzgerald plans to use its Jacksonville office to handle some of the company’s securities processing activities.
