~ Florida companies generated more than $152 million in export sales while expanding global partnership in the aerospace and defense sector ~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla —  Today, SelectFlorida announced that Florida companies participated in 2026 Singapore Airshow with SelectFlorida generating more than $152.4 million in export sales—demonstrating strong global demands for Florida aviation, aerospace and defense product and services. The Singapore Airshow is one of the world’s premier aerospace and defense industry events, bringing together global leader, innovators and decision makers.

“Florida’s aerospace and aviation and defense companies showed a strong presence in Singapore—driving significant economic results that position them for continued expansion into international markets,” said SelectFlorida President and CEO Matt Swanson. “It is our mission to propel Florida’s business community toward long-term success by facilitating new trade relationships, broadening export opportunities and strengthening key industries—like Florida’s growing Aerospace and Aviation industry—to bolster our state’s economy and create opportunities for our high skill workforce.”

Nine Florida companies participated in the 2026 Singapore Airshow as part of the Florida Pavillion, with six companies receiving trade grants to support their international engagement. Through their participation, these companies gained valuable exposure that supports new export opportunities, particularly in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services across both military and commercial sectors. Participating companies generated more than 100 new trade leads, creating opportunities for continued economic growth and long-term partnerships on the international stage.
