SelectFlorida Announces More Than $49 Million in Export Sales Following Export Sales Mission to Honduras and El Salvador

~ Florida companies generated more than $49 million in export sales while expanding international partnerships in Central America ~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla — Today SelectFlorida announced that Florida companies which participated in the 2026 Export Sales Mission to Honduras and El Salvador generated more than $49 million in export sales, creating strong demand for Florida products and services across key international markets. The trade mission brought together 10 Florida companies industries including defense, dietary supplements and vitamins, auto parts, telecommunications services, training simulation equipment and pharmaceuticals, along with representatives from Port Tampa Bay and Port Everglades, highlighting Florida’s strategic role in global trade and logistics. Through direct meetings with buyers, distributors, government officials and industry leaders, the mission produced 93 trade leads and expanded new business development opportunities across Central America.

The mission provided Florida businesses with access to emerging markets in Central America, helping companies diversify their customer base and strengthen distribution channels in the region. Participating companies engaged with international buyers, distributors and government stakeholders, gaining valuable market intelligence and establishing connections that support continued export growth, long-term commercial relationships and expanding regional access.
