The Florida Aerospace and Defense (FAD) Portal is Your Link to Florida Specific Opportunities

FloridaCommerce launched the FAD Portal to connect Florida’s small and medium-sized businesses with contracting opportunities that directly support Florida’s vital military community. Before launching the FAD portal, Florida small and mid-sized businesses previously had to visit multiple, separate websites to obtain information on U.S. Department of Defense spending, available grants and contracts.

The FAD Portal enables users to access multiple resources related to:

• Finding, winning and managing government-awarded contracts
• Searching for and applying to federal defense-focused grants
• Accessing free consultation services provided by the Florida APEX Accelerator and the Florida Small Business Development Center Network
• Cybersecurity training
• Disaster preparedness information

Partnership Opportunities
